sibiu posters

These are a pair of posters i did WAAAAY back in '07 when the romanian town of Sibiu was chosen to represent the european cultural capital for the year. The whole theme (including fonts, logo, the black bar at the bottom, title and taglines) is that of the official promotional campaign of the event. My contribution was the images themselves. The idea of the campaign was that cultural elements were deeply integrated into every aspect of life in Sibiu, and thus you could expect to see little details otherwise out of place, such as a guy with pen tips in his hair.
The main text reads: "Normal (or 'of course'). Sibiu. Young since 1191 (the historic year of the founding of the town)".
